My Motivation
​
As a girl of color in an all-girls school, I have seen how powerful it is to learn in a diverse community. Still, I have realized that genuine support means more than celebrating our separate cultures. When different affinity groups came together at my school’s cultural fair, I felt how strong we could be when united and this moment inspired Empower Girls of Color (EGC).
​
Girls of color should lift each other up, share our stories, and grow together. Through EGC, I am committed to building both a more inclusive and empowering community for girls of color in all domains.
