This project highlights the experiences, wisdom, and impact of mothers of color through the eyes of their daughters. Through short stories, girls of color explore their heritage, develop their voices as writers, and honor their mothers’ stories. By sharing these narratives, the anthology celebrates diversity and empowers the next generation of young women of color.

Call for Submissions: Our Mothers' Colorful Stories Vol. 2
Empower Girls of Color is now accepting submissions for the Our Mother’s Colorful Stories, part of the EGC Anthology Project. We invite girls and women of color to share poems, short stories, or any reflections on their personal experiences.
Submitted works will be published in a printed anthology book, celebrating diversity of culture.
