EGC Anthology
EGC Anthology brings together the voices of girls and women of color through poetry, prose, and art. This project creates a shared space for expression and connection, where contributors can explore personal experiences and uplift one another. By gathering these voices into one collective anthology, EGC hopes to strengthen community and remind every girl that her story matters and deserves to be heard.

Empower Girls of Color is now accepting submissions for the Our Mother’s Colorful Stories, part of the EGC Anthology Project. We invite girls and women of color to share poems, short stories, or any reflections on their personal experiences.
Submitted works will be published in a printed anthology book, celebrating diversity of culture.

Our Mothers' Colorful Stories
“Our Mothers' Colorful Stories” is a book-making project. This project aims to celebrate the diverse experiences, wisdom, and impact of mothers of color through the eyes of their daughters. This anthology will feature short stories about our mothers.
More than a project, this an opportunity for girls of color to explore their heritage with their mothers and develop their voices as writers and storytellers. By sharing these diverse narratives, this project to celebrate diversity and empower the next generation of young women.
